Review Us
Most children hear and listen to sounds from the time they first enter the world. Your baby actually begins to develop speech and language skills during the first 6 months of life by listening and imitating the speech sounds they hear as you are talking to them. The first 3 years of life are when children begin to learn language.
Because of these important milestones, it is crucial to recognize, diagnose, and treat hearing issues as early as possible. Whether your child needs a routine consultation for a common but troublesome problem, ongoing care for a chronic illness, or urgent intervention, we will work closely with your child’s pediatrician or family physician as well as other pediatric subspecialists to develop appropriate and timely treatment plans.
If your child passed the hearing screening performed at birth, you should continue to monitor how they are responding to you and the sounds around them. If you think your child may have hearing loss, contact us to schedule a hearing check for your child.
